GATES OPEN @ 5:00PM
DRAWING ENDS @ 7:00PM
DRIVER'S MEETING @ 7:15PM
HOT LAPS @ 7:30PM
RACING STARTS AT 8:00PM SHARP

IF YOU DON’T PACK THE TRACK YOU START TAIL BACK AND LOSE PACKING POINTS.

1. Heats and last chance races are on a 15 minute time limit. After 5 yellows we will go green/white/checkered.

2. Fire suits are mandatory in all classes. Racing helmets are mandatory in all classes and should have a “snell” rating of at least 95. Neck brace, window net/or arm restraints, and 5-point harness belt are mandatory in 2007.

3. Only towing vehicle, trailer and race cars allowed in pits. NO PERSONAL VEHICLES ALLOWED IN THE PITS!! EVERYONE MUST STOP AND SIGN release form before entering the pit area.

4.Cars should be painted in a professional manner with the number painted in a contrasting color on BOTH sides and TOP of car, large enough for scorer to distinguish from the press box. THE TRACK ASSIGNS NUMBERS. WHOLE NUMBERS ONLY. DUPLICATE NUMBERS NOT ALLOWED. YOU NEED TO REGISTER A NUMBER. If you do not register a number, or you run a number assigned to someone else, you lose your right to protest the scoring of a race (and the possibility of running for points). For 2007 to run for points, you will have your “own number” not a duplicate. Having your own number benefits you, not us.

5. If needed, all cars must pack the track. Track packing starts at 6:30. If you do not pack you will not receive you packing points(10) and you will run tailback in your heat. You must stay on track until motioned off in order to receive your 10 packing points. If you are having trouble with your car, you must tell the tech man in order for you to retain your starting spot in heat. If you are late, no points but you will retain your starting spot.

6. TRACK OFFICIALS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRAW FOR ANY REASON.

Line-ups will be made after the draw has closed. If you have not drawn, you will run tailback in your heat. If you wish to run tailback, please tell the officials at the draw. If YOU DRAW, YOU MUST TAKE YOUR SPOT. If one car does not make the line-up, all cars behind that car will move straight forward, except where point average /passing points apply (they will crisscross). If 2 or more cars in the same line do not make the line-up, the cars will be crisscrossed. After the green has been thrown, cars will move straight up.

7. POINTS GO TO THE DRIVER. Points are earned by packing the track, top 4 in heat and by paying positions in last chance races and “A” features. Every race night is a points night unless otherwise noted.

8. Cars qualify through heats for the feature. The first heat determines the inside row and the second heat determines the outside row, except where point averages/passing points apply. Last chance race transfers start at the back of the “A”. If you do not qualify through the heat or last chance race, you will not be allowed to run the “A”. (Exception to the rule: YOU break I hot laps and are able to get the car fixed by “A” feature time, you will be allowed to run as LONG AS THERE is not 20 cars already in the “A” feature)

9. Race positions will be posted at the Pit Box wall. It is the drivers responsibility to know his /her position. All races will be aligned in the pit area. Driver will be called to line up in the designated area. Cars are to be in correct line-up and ready go start the race before entering the track. If you miss the lineup, you will run tailback. NO HOT LAPS BETWEEN RACES.

10. FLAGMAN HAS COMPLETE AUTHORITY DURING THE RACE.

11. When the front row of cars reaches the white line, the start will be official only upon the flagman signaling with the green flag. The pole car will set the pace, which shall be consistent with the green flag. The pole car will set the pace, which shall be consistent with track conditions and as required to keep the field in NOSE TO TAIL FORMATION. If you are out of line, the yellow flag will be thrown and you will be put on the rear. The race is officially over when the checkered flag is thrown.

The only flag to follow the white is the checkered, unless the track is completely blocked and/or in case of fire. In this case, the race will be paid from the last completed lap.

12. The pole car should start the race, however, this will be at a reasonable speed. It does not give them the right to keep the pace so slow that the cars behind are “bogged” down. Flagman may signal car to pick up speed . If this is ignored, flagman may put that car on the rear. This includes single file restarts. It is up to the front row to set an even pace so that the race is started evenly. THE START OF THE RACE IS WHEN THE POLE CAR PASSES THE TIRE, THE RACE IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY.

13.On a complete restart (1 lap not completed) all cars go back to there original positions EXCEPT the ones who caused the yellow/red to be thrown , those cars will go to rear. On the first lap , all cars must pass the flagstand in order for the lap to be complete except for the cars that caused the red/yellow.

WE DO NOT RACE TO THE YELLOW!!!!

THE SCORERS COUNT LAPS FROM THE PRESS BOX, AND USE THE FLAG STAND AS A FINISHED LAP. YOU ARE REALIGNED IN THE ORDER THE LAP COUNTERS DETERMINE, NOT THE WAY YOU WISH.

A RED FLAG MEANS STOP - THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION ON THE TRACK.

DO NOT DRIVE AROUND TO BE CLOSE TO YOUR FRIENDS OR PIT CREW, IF YOU IGNORE THE RED FLAG, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

A YELLOW FLAG MEANS SLOW DOWN - THERE IS A SPIN/WRECK ON THE TRACK.

A YELLOW AND RED LIGHT ON TOGETHER IS THE SIGNAL FOR A COMPLETE RESTART, IN DOUBLE FILE ORDER. ON A SINGLE FILE RESTART, a tire will be painted (same as original start) left of the flag stand. Cars are to be nose to tail, if you pass before the tire you will be sent to the rear, this is only on single file restarts. Lapped cars will be sent to the rear. STARTING THE RACE WHEN THE POLE CAR PASSES THE TIRE THE RACE IS ON.

14. If you are charged with a yellow/red, you will go to the rear of the field, whether contact is made or not, or whether you stop on the track or not. If you argue about going to the rear, you will be scored 1 lap down. IF YOU ARE CHARGED WITH 2 YELLOWS DURING A RACE, YOU WILL BE SENT OFF THE TRACK. If you “bust” through a wreck, you will be charged with the yellow/red and you will be put to the rear or sent off the track. If you are involved in a yellow, and a car has been black flagged for rough driving you will still go to the rear, but will not be charged with that yellow. IF YELLOW IS THROWN FOR DEBRIS AND IT IS YOURS, YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITH THE YELLOW AND GO TO THE REAR. If the lights are out and the flagman gives the signal ,the green will be thrown next, and you cause the flagman to throw a yellow flag, you will be charged with the yellow and sent to the rear.

THE ONLY CAR THAT WILL RECIEVE ITS SPOT BACK IS THE LEADER IF TAKEN OUT.

15. Driver is given 2 laps to get into correct spot after being shown what that spot is, After 2 laps, that car will be black flagged and sent off the track.

16. ANY CAR THAT BRINGS OUT AN INTENTIONAL YELLOW WILL BE SENT OFF THE TRACK.

17.Any car leaving the track under yellow/red will go to the rear of the restarts. Cars will be aligned according to the way they come back on the track. Minor adjustments can be made to car under red on track. NO PIT CREWS ON TRACK DURING YELLOW. DRIVER MUST STAY IN CAR UNLESS TOLD OTHERWISE. IF DRIVER GETS OUT OF CAR, HIS/HER RACE IS OVER.

18. Black flag applies to all classes. NOT SEEING THE FLAG IS NO EXCUSE. The black flag will be given to any car spinning out 2 times, not able to run safely, (ie dragging loose parts, leaking fluid, flats on right side, extreme smoking ect……….), any car not at racing speed or rough driving. This is at FLAGMAN'S DISCRETION,. The black flag will be given to a car twice, If the driver ignores the flag, the race may be stopped and the offender put off the track, lose points and money for the night and may be suspended.

19. Protests must go through the pit steward. Protest must be done within 5 minutes of the end of race. Driver protesting must have finished on lead lap. Only top 5 cars in the feature may be protested.
